About Us
Historically, The office of the registrar and its function date back to the great medieval universities of Bologna, Paris, and Oxford. Today, here at Loyola University Chicago, the Office of Registration and Records exists to serve the needs of the students, to respond to requests of the faculty and administration for data, and to safeguard the integrity of the students' education record. The office also serves external audiences such as employers seeking degree verification and alumni who request copies of their transcripts.
The Office of Registration and Records is open from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday. Extra hours during peak periods are posted outside the office.
